Knightthorpe
Methodist Church
Knightthorpe
Methodist Church is modern in design, friendly in spirit and happy in
worship. Recently refurbished, it has disabled access to all areas,
comfy chairs and a fabulous community room with enviable kitchen facilities.
A
very warm and friendly welcome is extended at both Sunday morning worship
and the many groups within the Church. Our latest venture is our Cafe
Church, Bthere4God @ KT.com held on the first Sunday of each month from
4.30 to 6.00 p.m.
Knightthorpe
has a small membership, which can be very active and lively at times
and also quiet and worshipful, depending on the occasion. No Senior
Steward is appointed here and the four Stewards work as a team alongside
the other 'officers'.
The
weekly flowers in the Church, displayed by four members of the Flower
Club and provided by members of the congregation, are outstanding.
Knightthorpe
has a reputation for hospitality, good fare at most events and is a
Fair Trade Church. Traidcraft products are used for all refreshments,
including those enjoyed by visiting groups, and a large number of food
items are also always available to buy from the 'shop'.
Our
next project is to up-grade the Ashby Hall so that it becomes a self-contained
unit with its own kitchen and cloakrooms - watch this space!
