Ceilidh
and Barn dance
AD2000 Band's
members have a wide experience of providing Ceilidhs and barn dances for:
- Weddings
- Birthday
parties
- Aniversary
celebrations
- Harvest
barn dances
- Burns
Night
- St Andrew's
and St. Patrick's Ceilidhs
- New Year's
Eve
- Charitable
and fundraising barn dances
Some guidance on booking the band:
- Usually our barn dances last about two and a half hours with a break
midway through for a meal.
- We need at least an hour to set up and take about half an hour to
clear out at the end; please bear this in mind when booking your venue.
- The band will need a supply of soft drinks or water, and would expect
to be fed if your event includes a meal.
- We will bring our sound equipment, but power sockets need to be accessible
for us, also we'll need to park the bus close to the venue.
We're always willing to consider something a bit different so do get
in touch to discuss your requirements.
On average we charge £200 for a barn dance, plus travelling expences
if outside Loughborough. Discounted rates are available for charities.

What's the difference between a Ceilidh and a barn dance?
As far as AD2000 are concerned, the main difference is how formal the
occasion is. We're more likely to wear smart clothes, maybe tartan to
a Ceilidh, but jeans to a barn-dance!

As a band AD2000 sees its ministry as providing contemporary praise and
worship music for all sorts of services and events.
Its mission is to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ to people today through
the music of today.
AD2000 don't charge for playing worship music and leading worship; in
order to fund the ministry we play for barn dances and ceilidhs.
This funds travelling and the expense of buying and maintaining the equipment
we use.
